Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the services, website, or communication channels of Global Aluminium & Glass (https://globalframelessglass.co.za), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not engage our services.

2. Services Offered

We provide:

Design, supply, and installation of custom aluminium and frameless glass products, including showers, balustrades, splash backs, mirrors, and enclosures
On-site measurement and quoting
Project-based consultation and execution

All services are subject to material availability, site conditions, and client approval of formal quotations.

3. Quotation & Payment Terms

All quotations are valid for 0 days unless otherwise specified.
A deposit (typically 100%) is required before materials are ordered or work commences.
Balance is due upon completion of installation unless pre-arranged otherwise in writing.
Late payments may result in delayed installation, additional fees, or legal action.

4. Lead Times

Standard project turnaround is 22 working days from deposit and final measurements, subject to supplier timelines and site readiness. Expedited service may be available for an additional fee.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

Orders cancelled before manufacturing may be eligible for a partial refund (less admin and handling).
Once materials are cut or customized, refunds are no longer possible.
No refunds on completed, installed work unless faulty workmanship is proven.

6. Warranty & Liability

All installations carry a 0-month workmanship warranty.
Glass is inspected before delivery; we are not liable for breakages after installation due to misuse, building movement, or third-party interference.
We are not liable for structural defects in existing walls, tiles, or mounting surfaces.

7. Client Responsibilities

Provide accurate measurements (unless our team is scheduled to measure).
Ensure site readiness on installation day (clean, accessible, with no wet tiling/painting).
Notify us of any changes to project scope or timeline 1000 hours in advance.

8. Intellectual Property

All design layouts, drawings, and digital content shared by Global Aluminium & Glass remain the property of the company unless expressly transferred.

9. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances will Global Aluminium & Glass be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Total liability will not exceed the total amount paid for the service in question.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
